Hello, my wife Jackie and I visited the Stahl’s Museum on Saturday, February 1. It was our second visit, the first being some 18 months ago. At 71, I still feel like a young boy in a candy store. The diversity and expansive collection of classic automobiles and memorabilia is spectacular. We find ourselves incapable of absorbing everything there is to see, so I take lots of pictures. The museum is a testament to the love and commitment that Ted and Mary Stahl have to being exceptional stewards of history. In many instances, collections like this are kept for private viewings only and or fellow collectors. Accordingly, I would like to extend our sincerest appreciation to Ted and Mary for sharing their collection with the public. I would also like to extend our sincerest thanks to Terri Coppens and the entire volunteer staff that was present on Saturday, February 1. While strolling around the collection, my wife became light headed and fell. I was some 50-75 feet away and did not see her fall. She takes some very potent medications which require that she eat something at time of consumption. Unfortunately, Jackie did not eat anything with her medication this Saturday morning. Your volunteers immediately swung into action to assist Jackie. In fact, they escorted her to the private office area where we both were offered something to eat and drink. Additionally, Jackie was offered a wheelchair for use for the balance of our visit. Thanks to all of you and may God bless each and every person associated with Stahl Museum. My bride of 48 years echoes my feelings. I wanted to inquire about the next Saturday open house. Is it tentatively scheduled for Saturday, March 7 ? I want to bring my son-in-law and 18 & 10 year old grandsons for a visit. My oldest grandson will be headed for specialized Army missile operator/technician training in June, and he loves classic cars. Once again, God bless you all!!!
