Today, we had the incredible honor of welcoming a very special guest, 95 years young and full of stories. Ted was once part of the legendary Chrysler Turbine project, helping to bring one of the most fascinating vehicles in automotive history to life.

When he saw our Chrysler Turbine, his eyes lit up. And when we invited him to sit inside, the moment became unforgettable, he was moved to tears, overcome with emotion and joy. It wasn’t just a car to him. It was a piece of his life’s work, a symbol of innovation, pride, and purpose.  He also possesses the key to car number 42, the vehicle now owned by none other than Jay Leno.  A little known fact, all Chrysler Turbine vehicles were keyed alike so that key fit in our car as well.

We’re grateful to have shared this beautiful moment with him and his daughter. We are reminded once again that the cars we preserve are more than machines, they’re memories, milestones, and meaning.
