Acclaimed author, attorney, and automotive historian Steve Lehto draws from his newly revised book, Chrysler’s Turbine Car: The Rise and Fall of Detroit’s Coolest Creation, to tell the true story behind Chrysler’s daring turbine program. Through interviews with the engineers and insiders who worked on the project, Lehto explains how Chrysler challenged conventional automotive thinking during the Jet Age, captured worldwide attention, and ultimately brought the program to an end.
