It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share th It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved volunteer and friend, Jerry. πŸ’πŸ•ŠοΈ Β  Jerry was so much more than a volunteer, he was a true member of the Stahls team. He always showed up with a smile, a joke, a helping hand, and a wealth of knowledge to share. If you've ever visited our Big Boy corner, there's a good chance you had the pleasure of meeting Jerry and hearing his stories about Big Boy, the Stagecoach, Wendell the Elephant, the clock, and so many other pieces of our collection. Β  Jerry gave so much of his time and energy to Stahls Motors & Music Experience. He volunteered at as many events and tours as he possibly could. He was always willing to lend a hand without ever expecting anything in return. He was continually thinking of ways to improve the collection and create a better experience for our visitors. He spent countless hours researching so he could share the most interesting and accurate information with everyone who walked through our doors. Above all, Jerry truly loved to educate and share his passions.Β πŸ™Œ Β  Jerry was incredibly proud of his life and accomplishments which included: β€’ Single Engine Land Pilot’s License β€’ Doctorate in Mechanics, Michigan State University β€’ Product Test Engineer, Ford Motor Company β€’ Senior Research Engineer, General Motors Corporation β€’ Research Associate, Bioengineering Center β€’ Consultant in Impact Biomechanics β€’ Active in bicycle racing during his younger years β€’ Very active throughout his life, taking daily walks β€’ Life Member of the Sanilac County Historical Society, where he served on the board and as president Β  Jerry leaves behind a legacy of knowledge, kindness, laughter, generosity, and dedication.
