STAHLS’ Power Play for Heroes kicks off with our 9th annual Detroit Red Wings Alumni vs. Team STAHLS’ charity hockey game on Friday, November 14, 2025.

The Stahls’ Power Play for Heroes is a charity event to honor our Veterans. All proceeds benefit Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, pairing Michigan veterans with individually trained medical service dogs helping change and save a Veterans life. Local veterans will be honored on the ice before the game.

Notable Red Wings Alum include 4X Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty. Detroit Red Wings great and 2X Stanley Cup Champion Vladimir Konstantinov. Also playing for Team Stahls’ is Brad Galli WXYZ Channel 7 news sports anchor and Detroit’s own professional racing driver in IndyNXT, Nolan Allaer. Al Sobotka former NHL Zamboni driver will also be on hand to toss some octopi.

Special guest

Vladimir Konstantinov (2X Stanley Cup Champion) – will be available for meet and greet in between the first and second period.

Nolan Allaer (IndyNXT professional racing driver)- will be available for meet and greet prior to the game. (6:30pm-7pm)
