First Ever Orphan Car Show!
Step back in time and relive automotive history at the first-ever Orphan Car Show at Stahls Motors & Music Experience. This one-of-a-kind event puts orphan cars in the spotlight, marques and models from automakers that disappeared from the industry but left behind unforgettable stories and groundbreaking innovations.
Picture the legendary names that once ruled the road: Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Packard, Hudson, Studebaker, DeSoto, and many more. These manufacturers shaped some of the most creative and distinctive cars of their era. Although the brands vanished, their automobiles still capture imaginations and you’ll see them gathered here like never before.
This is not your typical car show. It’s a living history lesson on wheels. Rare and quirky orphans will roll in beside beautifully preserved classics, while restomods breathe new life into long-forgotten designs. Young enthusiasts will take part in judging and awards, keeping the spirit of car culture alive for the next generation. A special Pass in Review will showcase each vehicle’s story, brought to life by Inside Stahls host Mickey York and local legend Top Hat John. Bring a chair, settle in, and enjoy the parade of unforgettable machines as their history unfolds before you.
The Orphan Car Show happens Saturday, September 13, with gates opening at 10:00 AM at the Stahls Motors & Music Experience. Admission is free, and your visit includes access to our full collection of cars, music machines, glowing neon, and memorabilia.
Whether you love classic cars, appreciate history, or just want a fun day out, the Orphan Car Show delivers an experience you’ll remember. These aren’t vehicles you stumble across at ordinary meets they’re rare treasures with stories worth celebrating. Join us as we honor the cars, and the makers, that time left behind but we never will.

This article indicates that the Orphan Car Show will happen Saturday, October 13,…shouldn’t it be Saturday, September 13?
Lori, thank you for catching that! You are correct! It has been fixed!
Is this open to orphan vintage cars who want to drive in that day and park outside?
Margaret, the show is in our parking lot. The cars that will be allowed in the lot must be pre-registered. At this time, our registration is closed. We may have a few spots for DISPLAY ONLY but those will be limited.
