New arrivals! And some returning vehicles!
We have some new arrivals here at the collection! Some are new to us and some we’ve brought out of storage. We like to change things up now and then to keep it fresh, you never know what you’ll see! Some of the new vehicles include a very cool wrought iron VW Beetle and a beautiful 1932 Nash. Some of the returning vehicles are our 1914 Woods Mobilette and our 1924 Marmon. Power Play for Heroes charity hockey game pre-sale tickets on sale now!
Join Stahls’ on Veterans Day weekend at the Stahls’ Power Play for Heroes charity hockey game benefiting the Guardian Angles Medical Service Dogs. Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs pair Michigan Veterans with individually trained medical service dogs. The charity hockey game features Team Stahls’ and the Detroit Red Wings Alumni. The Red Wings Alumni team has a star studded roster including 4X Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty. Game day includes raffles, memorabilia, autograph sessions and a fun environment for all to enjoy all while honoring our Veterans. Final Cruise In of the season!
Last night, we celebrated our last Rock’n Roll In Cruise In night of the season! We had over 120 cars displayed proudly by their owners! Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers of New Baltimore was serving up some great food and we were handing out fresh donuts from Corn Fun Family Farm in Casco! We want to thank each and every one of our visitors that spread the word about these fun family-oriented nights and hopefully new friends were made! New events added for Veterans Day!
We have added a couple new events to our Events page including our Annual Veterans Day Open House and Power Play for Heroes Hockey game! The game takes place on Saturday, November 9th at Noon and features Team Stahls vs Detroit Red Wing Alumni with some of your favorite past Detroit Red Wings. You can purchase advance tickets at the St. Clair Shores Civic Arena (20000 Stephens St., St Clair Shores, MI 48080) or on game day for $10 each, kids 10 and under are free. Game day includes raffles, memorabilia, autograph sessions and a fun environment for all to enjoy all while benefiting Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. See our 1958 Zundapp Janus at the Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show this Sunday!
This Sunday at the Orphan Car Show, you can see examples from more than a hundred car companies that contributed to the automotive industry that you may never even heard of. The show is held each year at the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum and showcases automobiles that are 25 or more “model-years” old and are no longer manufactured or imported into the US. Zundapp definitely falls into this category. Zundapp was a major German manufacturer that was founded at Nuremberg in 1917 producing munitions. They departed from that business at the end of World War I and the first motorcycle emerged in 1921. In the early 1930s, motorcycle sales were sagging and they decided to take a stab at building

Pebble Beach, here we come!!
We will be heading to the exclusive Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance this week with our 1929 Stutz Model M! This beauty is a very rare LeBaron-bodied chassis sporting “cut-down” doors and a rear mounted spare. It is said there are only two surviving examples that share this unique and desirable combination of features. We will be posting lots of photos on our social media while in Monterey and will update the website when we return, hopefully with a big ribbon on the car!
Autos for Autism was a success!
Our first Autos for Autism took place on Thursday, July 25th both inside and outside the building. Special guests Wayne Carini of TVs Chasing Classic Cars, and Dylan Larkin of the Detroit Red Wings spent the evening with visitors signing autographs and posing for pictures! Our car show outside was overflowing with some great cars, people, live music, and a bounce house. Wayne Carini even walked around outside to check out the visitors cars. We were able to present a check for over $27,000 to the Ted Lindsay Foundation for Autism! Thank you to everyone who donated and we hope to do it bigger and better next year! Photo Gallery
Come watch “The Great Race” movie on the lawn, Thursday, June 27!
We are co-hosting this family-fun event with the Chesterfield Township Parks and Recreation Department on Thursday, June 27th! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and watch the 1965 slapstick comedy movie, The Great Race starring Tony Curtis, Natalie Wood, Jack Lemmon, and Peter Falk. See the two cars that star in the movie, the Leslie and the Hannibal along with many other wonderful antique automobiles! There will also be a Cruise In from 4:00-7:30 in the south parking lot! Marco’s Pizza will be on hand during the Cruise In while El Charros and Achatz Pie Company will join at 6:00pm! Special guests Tom Daldin and Jim Edelman of the PBS show “Under The Radar Michigan” will be on hand signing

This weekend we have two shows we are participating in! Our 1935 Lincoln we be on display at the Cincinnati Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, June 9 at Ault Park. Our 1935 Chrysler Airflow will make its way to the Packard Proving Grounds for the Cars are Stars show! If you in either location, be sure to stop by and say hello!
