The 6th annual Autos for Autism, featuring Wayne Carini, is just a few weeks away! Join us for an exciting afternoon filled with amazing cars and even more amazing car enthusiasts. This family-friendly event will feature food, music, great conversations, and of course, plenty of cars! VIP ticket holders will get exclusive early access to the collection and can participate in an interactive audience session where Wayne Carini will interview Al Bergler, Bob Larivee Sr., and a few young local sprint racers. There will also be a meet & greet with special guests Kevin Miller, John Blum, and Nick Libett, all Detroit Red Wing Alumni. 1st Cruise Night in the books!
Our first cruise-in of 2024 is officially in the books, and what a success it was! We had an impressive turnout of 100 cars, all comfortably accommodated in our newly expanded parking lot. Unfortunately, our food truck couldn’t make it due to a power outage at the owner’s home, but our amazing volunteers stepped up and served fresh Marco’s pizza to everyone. With the larger lot, we’re also working on a new sound system and layout. Next week, we’ll be returning to our original entry driveway. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these updates.
Great Race Spring Rally 2024 in the books!
What an extraordinary weekend it’s been here at Stahls Auto Collection! It all kicked off with an impressive turnout during our Open Hours, drawing visitors from far and wide, including a couple who jetted in from San Diego, CA just to lay eyes on the iconic Leslie and Hannibal 8. As the day unfolded, we were treated to the spectacle of rally teams rolling in, adding another layer of excitement to the event. From 11:00 am, our doors swung open to welcome the public, who arrived in their own cherished vehicles, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. By 4:00 pm, the racers began to make their grand entrance. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who joined our inaugural sweepstakes! A big congratulations goes out to our winners, Mark and Marion McAlpine! They’ve earned themselves an exclusive ride alongside Tom and Jim in the thrilling Great Race Spring Rally. We’ll escort them to the Saturday lunch stop, where they’ll enjoy a meal with Tom and Jim before embarking on the rally route to Stahls. Upon reaching Stahls, they’ll dine with the teams, take home a swag bag, and cherish unforgettable memories! Bravo, Mark and Marion! Attention football fans! Get ready to tackle the excitement as we open our doors on Friday, April 26, 11:00-3:00 to kick off the 2024 NFL Draft festivities in Detroit! Just a quick drive up I-94 from the action-packed city, you won’t want to miss out! Come check out our championship lineup featuring Duesenburgs, Packards, and Fords! Score a selfie with our star players, including the Leslie Special and Hannibal 8 from “The Great Race,” Steve McQueen’s “The Reivers” Winton Flyer, the Whoville Family Sedan from the Grinch, and our star QB, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! Night at the Museum is a hit!
The first Night at the Museum of 2024 was a great success! So much so that we plan to keep the fun going. You will have two more chances this winter to see the beautiful glow of the neon lights before we switch over to our Rockin’ Roll In Cruise nights. Come check us out either February 15 or March 21 from 5:00-8:00 and get your free glow necklace!
A Christmas Miracle!
We want to take this time to thank all our visitors, near and far, for making us what we are today. We receive amazing feedback regarding our volunteer staff and we agree, they are the greatest! While we will not open on Tuesday, December 26, we will open on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Stahls Auto Collection. And the miracle you ask? Our road construction is complete! We can’t wait for you to experience the smooth ride they now offer! See you next year!

Autos for Autism 2023 a success!
We want to express our immense gratitude to all who supported us in raising over $44,000 for the Ted Lindsay Foundation. Unfortunately, the rain hindered our outdoor cruise, but we reduced the entry fee to make it more accessible for everyone to join us inside. Our panelists, including Wayne Carini, Ray Evernham, Mark Hyman, and Bob Pauley, led by emcee Brad Phillips, provided delightful conversation for our VIP ticket holders. Tom Daldin and Jim Edelman from TV’s Under the Radar Michigan were on hand to the delight of many guests. Additionally, Lance Luce, the organist for the Detroit Red Wings, played the Mighty Wurlitzer and entertained all our guests. We were also thrilled to have Red Wing alum John Ogrodnick
