What an extraordinary weekend it’s been here at Stahls Auto Collection! It all kicked off with an impressive turnout during our Open Hours, drawing visitors from far and wide, including a couple who jetted in from San Diego, CA just to lay eyes on the iconic Leslie and Hannibal 8. As the day unfolded, we were treated to the spectacle of rally teams rolling in, adding another layer of excitement to the event.

From 11:00 am, our doors swung open to welcome the public, who arrived in their own cherished vehicles, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. By 4:00 pm, the racers began to make their grand entrance. Jason White took to the microphone, regaling the crowd with captivating background stories about each team and their impressive vehicles. Later, as dusk settled, the staff, support crews, and race teams gathered for a convivial dinner within the Collection, where they received updates on their scores and start times for Sunday’s leg of the race. Before bidding farewell and retiring to their accommodations, we seized the opportunity to capture a memorable photo with the entire Great Race team alongside Mary and Ted Stahl.

Sunday morning brought a sense of anticipation as the teams reconvened at the Collection, sharing a final lunch together before the eagerly awaited announcement of the victors. Stay tuned for more snapshots of the excitement, soon to be posted on the Event tab under Past Events.
