What an incredible experience it was to see our 1963 on the Mall in Washington DC as part of the Hagerty Drivers Foundation National Historic Vehicle Registry.  The Turbine is the 32nd car to be added to the registry and was completely documented, photographed and recorded and the information gathered will be stored in the Library of Congress.  Vehicles are chosen based on their importance in American and automotive history.

You can read more about the Chrysler Turbine on the Registry site HERE

You can see the Turbine on display at Stahls where we also run a video of the car running so you can here the unmistakable whirring sound of the turbine engine!

When I turned 16 in 1965, my mom won the use of the turbine car for 3 months. It was thrilling for me and my family. Will you be coming to northern Ky. with that beauty. I’d love to see it as I am in charge of a cruise in inn August in 1924.
