The Great Race is underway!

Follow along the Great Race with us on our Facebook page or at www.greatrace.com! Four Stahl teams are participating in the race this year and making their way from St. Augustine, Florida to Colorado Springs, Colorado. Aces earned so far and also so mechanical issues, you can see it all here!
My grandfather, JC ” Kid” Nichols, Chicago, drove race cars for Mercer Auto in 1917. As a ” perk”, they gave him a chassis w/ engine. He took it to a ” a nearby tinshop”, and they built him a body for it, to his design. Photo on request.
